Prices & Payment

  • For commissions under $250, work will begin once payment is received in full and upfront.

  • Payment plans are available for work over $250.00

  • Payment is accepted via Paypal, Square, or Stripe

Turnaround & Deadlines

  • Please inform me beforehand if work requires a specific deadline. If a deadline pops up while the commission is in progress, I prefer notification of the date one week before it is due. A surcharge may be billed if less than a week’s notification is given.

  • My typical turnaround time ranges from a few days to two months depending on my workload. Feel free to inquire about your commission’s progress or estimated completion date at any time!

Refunds & Cancellation

  • If the commissioner decides to cancel, I will issue a refund equivalent to the amount of work completed. For example, if lines have been completed but coloring has not yet begun, 50% will be refunded.

  • If events in my own life cause cancellation of the commission, it will be refunded in full.

Work Process

  • Work below $100.00:  

    • These are considered small works, and as such, preliminary sketches and revisions are not included except at a $10.00 surcharge.

  • Work $100.00 and Above:  

    • THUMBNAILS: I will present three or more ideas as rough sketches for the commissioner’s inspection. 

    • REFINED SKETCH: The final ‘linework’ of the chosen thumbnail. This may be revised up to two (2) times before moving on. Additional revisions will incur a surcharge.

    • COLOR THUMBNAILS: If the work involves color, I will present color mockups of the chosen thumbnails to be reviewed and decided upon with the customer.

    • FINISH: Generally, in-process updates are available at any time upon the customer’s request. Major revisions of any kind cannot be made during this phase.

    • DELIVERY: A high-resolution (300dpi or more) and low-resolution version of the completed work will be delivered to you via Google Drive or WeTransfer. For traditional work, please see the SHIPPING section of this document.

Rights & Distribution

  • These terms of service are in regards to non-commercial, personal artwork commissions, and as such, commissioned work may not be used for your own profit. If you would like to purchase distribution rights, please contact me so that we can create a legal contract.

  • The commissioner may upload the work to any website or gallery. Artistic credit or a link back to my sites are galleries is greatly appreciated! The work may be resized or cropped as needed. The work may be printed for personal (non-commercial) use.

  • I retain the right to upload the work, use it in my portfolio, or for personal promotion. 

Shipping

  • Shipping is included with quotes given for traditional commissions. An additional charge may be applied if you are located outside of the United States.

  • I ship packages and envelopes with USPS whenever possible, and always with a tracking number. I purchase insurance for artwork worth over $100.00.
